Introduction : Hasan
is the main protagonist of the novel.
Rusli is a childhood friend of Hasan who meet again
in Bandung . He has a higher education and eloquent.
Kartini was a Marxist - Leninist
woman Rusli introduced to Hasan . Because Kartini has the similar face to the
first love Hasan , Hasan fell in love with her .
Anwar is an anarchist and nihilist
who felt himself to be God . He was renowned as female players are rough and
not hindered exploit others for their own interests .
Conflict :
One day Hasan know that in a
hotel, Anwar has a bad intention on Kartini .
Solution : Knowing
that Anwar has bad intention on Kartini, Hasan’s emotions peaked and with dark
eyes he looked for Anwar when the Japanese army at that time ( Kusyu Heiho) was
in operation and then accused him of being a spy . Hasan was killed by the
bullets of the Japanese.
Opinion : This story is very interesting
to read, the conflict of it can make readers soul feel inside the story.
